An Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC) is a demonstration code or technique created to verify the presence and exploitability of a vulnerability in a software or system. It is typically developed by security researchers to show that a particular security flaw can be used to compromise a system, allowing unauthorized access, data theft, or other malicious activities. While PoCs are often used in responsible disclosure to help developers patch vulnerabilities, they can also be misused if released publicly without a fix.
